Art Exhibit @ the Niceville Public Library
During the month of March, we are delighted to host Plew Elementary School’s Breakfast Buffet art project. 795 Plew Elementary students ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade, have been busy in Mrs. Schumacher’s art class learning to use clay. Their assignment was to create a realistic breakfast buffet utilizing only clay and paint.
The students collaborated to create eggs, bacon, donuts, biscuits, pancakes, watermelon, strawberries and much more!
This project allowed students the opportunity to work with clay as a medium in art. Also, the collaborative art project taught students how to work together to make an impact on the community.
The Niceville Library and Plew Elementary School hope you to stop by and enjoy the art display. Remember, although the pieces look yummy, NO eating!
