About the Author:

Local author and activist William White, and his wife, Isabel, have resided in Fort Walton for over four decades. After twenty-two years active duty Air Force, he then donned many hats as a counselor with Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitation. There, his caseloads ranged from mental health to vocational and developmental  disability clients. The Whites raised four children here, but never during all those years did his love of reading and writing falter. He has  authored three books, varied magazine articles and poetry.
